Terms and Conditions – Wine Lands Trails App Competition
Win an MTB Tour for Two with MTB Adventure!
1. Organiser
This competition (“Competition”) is organised by the Wine Lands Trails initiative and MTB-Adventure ApS, Co. Reg. DK39040751 of Bakkekrogen 1, 3460 Birkeröd, a Member of the Danish Travel Guarantee Fond No: 2879.
2. Eligibility
2.1 The Competition is open to all individuals who:
a) Are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry and Wine Lands Trails members with a paid-up membership;
b) Reside in South Africa and
c) Download the Wine Lands Trails mobile application and enable push notifications.
d) Are registered members of the Wine Lands Trails platform, having either created an account via the app or the website (www.winelandstrails.com).
2.2 Employees, agents, and immediate family members of the Organiser, its affiliates, and partner organisations are not eligible to enter the Competition.
3. Competition Period
3.1 The Competition opens on the date of app launch and closes at 23:59 SAST on 30 June 2025.
3.2 Entries received outside the Competition Period will not be considered.
4. How to Enter
To enter, participants must:
a) Download the Wine Lands Trails mobile app from either the Apple App Store or Google Play; and
b) Ensure push notifications are enabled within the app.
Only one entry per person is permitted.
5. Prize
5.1 One (1) winner will receive a travel voucher for two (2) persons, redeemable for any tour offered by MTB Adventure as part of its official 2025 or 2026 programme, available at www.mtb-adventure.com.
5.2 The voucher is subject to the following conditions, imposed by MTB Adventure:
The voucher is valid for use until 30 June 2026 and cannot be exchanged for cash.
The voucher is not transferable and can only be used once and must be used in full.
Participants will join the selected tour on a shared accommodation basis (i.e. not two single rooms).
The voucher does not include extras as listed under “Not Included in Tour Price” on the relevant tour page. These typically include but are not limited to:
Flights and visas
Travel and health insurance
Bike rental
Meals and drinks not explicitly stated as included
Tour availability is not guaranteed. Winners are advised to book early as tours may sell out or be cancelled due to insufficient participant numbers.
5.3 The prize is non-refundable and cannot be substituted with another offer, cash alternative, or tour outside of the 2025–2026 period.
6. Winner Selection and Notification
6.1 The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries received during the Competition Period.
6.2 The draw will take place within fourteen (14) days of the Competition closing date.
6.3 The winner will be contacted via phone number associated with their Wine Lands Trails membership account.
6.4 If the winner cannot be contacted within seven (7) days of the draw, the Organiser reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
7. Publicity and Data Use
7.1 By entering the Competition, participants agree that the Organiser may announce their name and share non-sensitive information (such as name and country) in promotional material related to the Competition.
7.2 The Organiser shall process all personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and its published privacy policy.
8. General
8.1 The Organiser reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or amend the Competition and these terms and conditions where it becomes necessary to do so.
8.2 The Organiser shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury suffered by any entrant arising from or in connection with the Competition or the acceptance or use of any prize.
8.3 These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
