Paarl Trails


Paarl Trails develops and maintains more than 200 kilometers of mixed use trails around the town of Paarl in the Western Cape of South Africa. The trails are accessible for runners, hikers and mountain (or gravel) bikers with a valid day permit or annual membership.

Trails includes XCO, pump tracks, XCM routes, rock gardens, downhills and much more with trails spanning Rhebokskloof, Spice Route, Laborie, Specialized Paarl as well as the Paarl Nature Reserve.

In addition to building and maintaining the trails, the Paarl Trails Organisation does so while uplifting the community. Wine Lands Trails is an initiative between Wine Lands Cycling Club, Paarl Trails, Banhoek Conservancy, Wellington (Wild Boar) Trails, Franschhoek Trails, Elgin Valley Trails, Bottelary Hills Conservancy, MTO and Stellenbosch Trail Fund to consolidate access to these trail networks under one regional permit.
