EVT: New Trail Alert!
🚨 New Trail Alert – Rhys’s Rollercoaster (Oak Valley, Elgin Valley Trails) 🚨
Saddle up, thrill‑seekers! Oak Valley Farm has just unveiled Rhys’s Rollercoaster – a brand‑new 2 km descent carved by the crew at Stoltz Trails. Think perfectly sculpted berms, poppy jumps and non‑stop flow that feeds straight into Indensity – so the smiles don’t stop when the Rollercoaster ends!
How to ride it
Start at Trail’s End Bike Hotel (Grabouw)
Climb Protea Banks – pause to admire the proteas in full bloom 🌺
Continue to Waterfall Bridge, cross over and head for the Oak Valley top gate
🔐 Gate code changes monthly – check your permit email/app before you roll out.
Cruise under the “The Adventure Starts Here” sign
One final climb skirting the back of Vissie’s Magic delivers you to the launch point
Two benches await for a breather and a breathtaking view
Then… drop in! From the elevated start, it’s pure gravity‑fuelled fun all the way down Rhys’s Rollercoaster and into Indensity. Feeling greedy? Skip Sound of Silence on your first run and loop back via Stone & Steel or dive into Vissie’s Magic for variety. Choices!
