Join us for Outride #5 in the Wine Lands Trails series as we head to the legendary Jonkershoek — a mountain biking mecca known for its flowing trails, technical descents, and unforgettable scenery.

Starting from Balance Coffee Roastery, we’ll fuel up with the good stuff (coffee, of course ☕) before rolling out into one of the most revered trail networks in South Africa.

🌄 What to Expect

Whether you’re a seasoned rider or still finding your legs, this outride will offer a selection of route options to suit different levels — from scenic climbs and forest flow to punchy switchbacks and serious singletrack. We’ll be announcing final routes and groupings soon.

🗺️ Routes & Rider Levels

✅ Short – 15 km | 430 m
Beginner-friendly and flowy, this loop is perfect for newer riders or those easing in. Smooth trails, scenic gravel roads, and a few gentle climbs to keep things spicy with the never-ending singletrack that will leave you breathless.
🔸 Medium – 23 km | 850 m
A serious test of legs and lungs. More elevation, proper technical sections, and exposed singletrack that rewards confident riding.
🔺 Long – 31 km | 1 400 m
The full Jonkers experience. Brutal climbs, punchy switchbacks, and fast, loose descents. Not for the faint-hearted – but oh so worth it.

🚴‍♀ Group Format
Each route has three pace groups: fast, medium, and social. Start where you’re comfy, find your flow, and ride your rhythm. Everyone is supported – no one gets left behind.

🍷 Post-Ride Vibes
We’ll wrap up at Balance Coffee Roastery right at the trailhead. Great coffee, cold drinks, and excellent banter. If you RSVP’d for a sponsored drink – it’ll be waiting. Otherwise, grab something off the menu and soak in the vibes.
