RTA Wealth Outride #4 – Wild Boar Edition!

🚴‍Winelands Outride #5 – Wild Boar Edition! 🐗
📅 Saturday, 21 June 2025
🕣 8:30 AM rollout
📍 Start: Doolhof Wine Estate, Wellington

This one’s raw. Rugged. Unfiltered.
Wild Boar delivers wild, untamed terrain that will test your legs and reward your spirit. This isn’t a race – but it is a challenge. Bring your A-game, whatever distance you choose.

🔥 Route Options:
⚠ Note: Even the short route is not beginner-friendly. Steep climbs, loose descents, and exposed singletrack await. Come prepared.

🔹 Short – 15 km | 392m (Route Profile Coming Soon!)
Don’t be fooled by the distance. This loop packs a punch – tight trails, loose rocks, and sharp climbs right from the gun. It’s short, but never easy.

🔸 Medium – 25 km | 635m (Route Profile Coming Soon!)
More elevation, more exposure, more tech. A rollercoaster of ridgelines and valley-floor traverses. Expect sections that’ll have you grinning and gritting your teeth.

🔺 Long – 32.5 km | 1000m (Route Profile Coming Soon!)
This is the big one. Relentless ascents, wild switchbacks, and descents that test your nerve. You’ll earn every meter – and love every second.

🚴‍Group Format:
Each route will have three marshals: fast, medium & social pace. Choose your line, ride your rhythm, and respect the pace of those around you. If you’re unsure, start shorter – there’s no shame in a solid finish.

🍷 Post-Ride Vibes:
We’ll wrap up back at Doolhof with well-earned drinks, coffee, and plenty of storytelling. Stick around – the trails may be wild, but the community is what makes it special.

🎟 Permit Info:
Day permit required if you don’t hold a Wine Lands permit North or regional (R100). Simply head to https://winelandstrails.com/purchase-day-permits/ to get yours. No permit sales on the day.

RSVP using option 9 on the Wine Lands Trails BOT.
