Celebrating the Simonsberg

Explore Plaisir Trails During the RMB Simonsberg Wine Festival

Join us at the RMB Simonsberg Wine Festival on Saturday and Sunday, 29th – 30th March, at the beautiful Plaisir Wine Estate, a proud member of both Wine Lands Regional and Wine Lands North.

Festival attendees will enjoy world-class wines, exquisite food, and vibrant entertainment, including live music with DJ Shen, delicious oysters, Zuney Burgers, and more. Unwind in the charming gin and Cap Classique bar nestled under ancient oak trees, or relax in the casual beer garden. It’s the perfect setting to soak in the great outdoors with friends and family.

Visitors will also have a special opportunity to preview the exciting progress of the newly developed trail at Plaisir, located high on the scenic contours of the mountain, scheduled for their grand opening in just one month’s time. The trail promises breathtaking views and a thrilling experience for cyclists!

As a bonus for the festival weekend, the existing Plaisir trails will be open to all visitors at no charge. Bring your bike, running shoes, or walking gear and enjoy exploring these impeccably maintained trails that wind through scenic vineyards and stunning landscapes.

Tickets are R250 per person, including 15 tasting coupons and a goodie bag.

We look forward to welcoming you for a memorable weekend of great trails, superb wines, and wonderful company!

Wine Lands Trails is an initiative between Wine Lands Cycling Club, Paarl Trails, Banhoek Conservancy, Wellington (Wild Boar) Trails, Franschhoek Trails, Elgin Valley Trails, Bottelary Hills Conservancy, MTO and Stellenbosch Trail Fund to consolidate access to these trail networks under one regional permit.
