🌿 About Bottelary Hills Renosterveld Conservancy

Stretching across 10,000 hectares, the BHRC was established in 1992 to preserve one of the most endangered ecosystems in the Cape Floral Kingdom – the Renosterveld. Today, 55 landowners work together to protect and regenerate this unique biome, which is home to rare plant species and wildlife like caracal, honey badger, cape fox, and more.

The full 130km trail network spans farm roads, jeep tracks, and flowing singletrack through working wine farms and conservation areas.
